APC Chieftain Decries 'Verbal Attack' On Saraki
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Alhaji Sulyman Kayode Yusuf, has cautioned the President of Orisun Igbomina, Chief Gbenga Awoyale, against making disparaging comments on the Senate President Dr Bukola Saraki.
Yusuf, in a statement he issued in Ilorin, yesterday, reminded Awoyale that Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed is an Igbomina man from Share, Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state.
He said there was no justification for Owoyale's attacks on the personality of Saraki.
He said that Owoyale and his kinsmen in Igbominaland, were the greatest beneficiaries of Saraki's political benevolence from 2011 till date, having supported the governorship aspiration of Ahmed in 2011 and 2015.
It would be recalled that Owoyale, recently, praised Saraki's political style when the latter's political decision favoured the Igbomina of Kwara south.
