Arrangement has been concluded to bring Oracle University to Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, to boost the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) drive of the polytechnic.

The General Manager of AfriHub, Mr. Eze Egerega, dropped this hint during a familiarisation visit to the polytechnic, recently.

AfriHub is an information and communication technology outfit responsible for the establishment of information and communication technology centres in higher institutions in Nigeria.

Egerega said the need to set up ICT centre was aimed at bridging the digital gap between Nigerian graduates and their counterparts across the globe.

Responding, Alhaji Mas'ud Elelu, the Rector of the polytechnic, said that the institution's plan to establish digital centres was stalled by inadequate fund. He said that the intervention of AfriHub would bring the dream of the polytechnic to fruition.
