Abdulrahman stays at Kwara Utd
he management of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Kwara United has said they are not going to sack the technical crew headed by Tunde Abdulrahman.
Speculations have been rife that the coaches will be shown the exit door after their midweek match-day 15 2-3 home loss to Enyimba.
The secretary of the side, Dele Oguntokun, said management has not taken any decision yet to sack the technical crew.
Oguntokun said the management will rather reinforce any loose ends in the next transfer window in a few weeks' time.
"We are not sacking our technical crew; they are continuing with us for now.
"The three-match ultimatum to the coaches to shape up or face sanctions will be treated as an internal matter.
"We have identified some of the issues hampering good results so far, we will make amendments as soon as possible," Oguntokun said to supersport.com.
Oguntokun urged the fans and supporters to remain calm and continue to support their team, promising they will soon put smiles on their faces.
"Management wishes to commend you for your conduct despite the team's recent poor form.
"We urge you to keep faith with the team as Kwara United will soon bounce back to winning ways again," said Oguntokun.
The Harmony Boys are 15th on the log on 15 points from possible a 45 and will be the guests of FC Taraba in the NPFL match-day 16 clash on Sunday at the Jolly Nyame Stadium in Jalingo.
