No fewer than eight teams would participate in the 2015 Kwara State Football League, the state FA Secretary, Mr Jimoh Oke, said on Monday.

Oke told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Ilorin that the competition will start on Tuesday, June 9, at the Kwara Stadium.

The participating teams, according to him, in group A are: Musty FC, Golden Stars FC, Millenion Stars and Omupo FC.

Group B is made up of Police FC, Lasora FA, Lubcon FC and Spring Soca FA. He said the game between Musty FC and Golden Stars will kick off the tournament by 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9.

Meanwhile, the second game between Omupo FC and Millenion Stars will take place at 10:00 a.m.

Oke disclosed that the early kick off was to pave way for Kwara United and ABS FC, who use the stadium for their training programmes in the evening hours.

The Kwara FA scribe urged participating teams to abide by the rules and regulations guiding the competition.

He advised them to report at match venues one hour before any match.

Oke disclosed that the rules and regulations guiding the competition have been distributed to participating teams. (NAN)
