I was not arrested by EFCC - Abdulfatah Ahmed
Ahmed, who debunked the alleged rumour of his arrest by the EFCC while fielding questions from journalists during his campaign tour of the state, also noted that the rumour was the handiwork of desperate opponents who wanted to discredit him at all cost.
According to him, he was never arrested or invited by the EFCC over any offence, adding that he was still in the state going about his campaign with the party supporters.
He explained that those peddling the rumour of alleged arrest were only trying to mislead the supporters of the party who wanted to ensure that he became the governor after the April elections.
