Shooting Stars recorded their first win of the season as they added to the woes of Kwara United with a 2-0 defeat.

3SC, coming back from a goalless draw game away at Nasarawa United, convincingly won as Najeem Olukokun put 3SC in front when he headed home a cross from Junior Ajayi to beat Kazeem Yekeen in goal for Kwara in the 18th minute.

Junior Ajayi made it 2-0 for 3SC on the half hour mark when he tapped in from a rebound.

‘The Oluyole Warriors’ started attack early as U23 striker Junior Ajayi 's effort in the third minute sailed over the bar after he had neatly beaten his marker.

In the ninth minute, it was the turn of the visiting team Kwara United as Dare Ojo's long range effort was dealt with by U23 goalkeeper Abiodun Akande, who stretched to tip it away. He made another save from Ibrahim Babale.

Eweje Oladele failed to score from a promising position in the 51st minute off a pass from Junior Ajayi after a good footwork from the U23 star.
