Stop deceiving Kwarans, Awoyale warns APC
Awoyale who spoke to journalists yesterday on his arrival at the Ilorin International Airport? advised Kwarans not to be deceived by the All Progressive Congress, APC, stressing that the Sen S.S. Ajibola and Hon. Ahmed Yinka Aluko, governorship ticket remain the only alternative for positive change.
He berated the Kwara State government for compounding on the hardship of the people of the state by denying them right to basic amenities such as water, prompt payment of salaries as well as lack of gainful employment for youths among others.
For example, Irepodun Local government has bulk of votes and the Kwara state government retained it's House of Representatives ticket in the area but refused to foot power and water bills making patients to bring generator sets to the Omu-Aran general hospital during surgery while other newly renovated hospitals in the state are also ill-equiped.
?He therefore urged electorates to troop out for the collection of their PVCs so as to partake in the forthcoming polls and vote massively for the victory of PDP at all levels in Kwara State.
The PDP chieftain however raised alarm over the porus state of infrastructural development in the entire Kwara South Senatorial District stressing that ?Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed is not only incompetent to govern the state but he is also a complete disappointment to the entire Igbominas.
According to him, "Governor Ahmed has demonstrated his lack of interest in the well-being ?of Kwarans by prioritizing the interest of his godfather (Bukola Saraki) at the expense of over 2 millions Kwarans, majority of whom are wallowing in abject poverty.
"Despite the dwindling federal allocation which has become their regular frivolous claims, the duo of Ahmed and Saraki still flies chartered flight often with the little or no attention to students' bursary, workers' salary/increment, ?development of rural communities, rehabilitation of roads among other vital issues of human concern.
"Ahmed has also failed to upgrade the Olupako of Share, in the Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State as a sign of loyalty? and servitude to Sen. Bukola Saraki. Indeed, Governor Ahmed has not only failed and disappointed the Igbomina land bute has also reflected the desire to enslave our people in the hands of political jobbers whose major aim is to mortgage Kwara State and everything therein."
Awoyale however maintained that voting for PDP in the forthcoming general elections is synonymous to voting for Freedom and Prosperity towards building a promising future for younger and generations yet unborn.
