He paid tribute to past political leaders in Kwara saying that he will make sure that Nigerians are free citizens that will not be intimidated by anyone, adding that Nigerians must be governed by law.

The President and other PDP big wigs made their way round the venue acknowledging cheers from Kwara residents who had filled every available space on the various pavilion.

More like a carnival, various band boys and dance groups, kept themselves busy as others awaited to listen to their presidential candidate  who also made his appearance in Kwara with the First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan.

From the platform came speeches on several issues, while some say they will bring Kwara residents out from the stronghold of an alleged cabal, others emphasized the need for a continuation of the transformation agenda.

The National Chairman of the PDP, Mr Adamu Muazu, presented the flag to the state flag bearer, Sen Simeon Ajibola, who told Kwara residents that PDP has been rebuilt giving the credit to President Jonathan.
