PDP will take over Kwara in 2015 - Gbemi Saraki
A former Senator, who represented Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Gbemisola Rukayyat Saraki has vowed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would take over the governance of the state in 2015.
Gbemisola, who is the younger sister of a former Governor Bukola Saraki, who is the leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), stressed that the chances of PDP were "obvious".
She spoke with newsmen shortly after addressing a crowd of her supporters and admirers, encouraging all Kwarans to participate in the ongoing voters' registration exercise.
According to her, "PDP's chance in Kwara State is obvious. You have seen it. The wind of change is blowing around us. PDP is taking over, In sha Allah 29th of May next year. We shall all be there to celebrate at the stadium."
Speaking further, the National Conference delegate dismissed insinuation in some quarters that the just concluded national conference had a hidden agenda, suggesting that the confab should be a continuous exercise.
