The honour, in a ceremony organised at the State Sports Council's Conference room, was in recognition of his meritorious service to the organisation as a good ambassador, while serving as the Secretary, of Kwara United Football Club.

In his remark, Kwara YSFON Chairman, Prince Ademola Kiyesola, spoke of how much the organisation is proud of Bako, adding that, YSFON produce, not only athletes, but also administrators, and that, Bako is one of such.

Different people who were in attendance took turn in pouring encomium on the person of Bako, as a bridge-builder, astute Sports administrator and a talent developer.

Bako was jointly presented with a plaque, to the effect of the recognition, by Kiyesola, the State's Director of Sports, Malam Tunde Kazeem, Director of Football, ABS Ilorin FC, Alloy Chukwuemeka, Chairman Kwara Football Association, Idris Musa, among others.

In his reaction to the kind words from admirers, Bako expressed gratitude for the show of love and the kind words coming from all the people that have spoken about their pleasant and memorable encounters with the him.

Bako who spoke briefly, said all the stakeholders present at the even made the journey as Kwara United Scribe easy for him.
