Date: 2020-10-04

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated Chief Theophilus Oyebiyi over his appointment as a commissioner (non-executive) of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, describing his nomination as deserving.

“His Excellency the Governor joins party loyalists in the state to congratulate Chief Oyebiyi over the appointment. The Governor believes Chief Oyebiyi, a fine party man, would bring the benefit of his experience to the Commission, the people of the state and the entire north central for which he is a commissioner,” according to a statement by his spokesman Rafiu Ajakaye.

“The Governor also commends President Muhammadu Buhari for once again honouring the state with the appointment. It is yet another reflection of Mr. President’s love for the people of Kwara State who, for their part, remain his strong support base . He prays the Almighty God to guide Chief Oyebiyi and other appointees and help them to succeed in these national assignments.”
