Imam of Oja Oba Mosque, Offa, headquarters of Offa Local Government Area, Alhaji Yunus Oba has extolled the virtues of the late Alhaja Hummani Abike Salawudeen of Odofa's Compound, Offa, saying the had contributed to wellbeing of Islam and humanity.

Alhaji Yunus Obawho said this at the fidau in honour of the deceased held at her residence in Offa on Thursday described the deceased as a good Muslim who lived a muslim life, urging her children to emulate her virtues.

The cleric then charged Muslims to take proper care of their parents when the alive rather than lauching money, on their burial ceremony when they die saying ,those that engaged in such acts will not escape the full wrath of Allah

The religious leader who described children as fruits to their parents, said it is by taking care of their parents that they can be called good fruits.

He admonished those in positions of authority to use them for the benefit of the mankind as they will relinquish such positions one day.

The late Alhaja Humuani Abike Salaudeen who died at the age of SSyears is survived by six children, namely Amudalatu, Yekinni, Afusat, Mulikatu, Gafaru and Rasaki grand and great grand children.

Alhaji Lasisi Asikolaye, Engr. Hassan Lawal, former General Manager River Basin Authority, Ilorin and Prince Ademola Ajibade who arerelations of the deceased thanked individual and groups for their assistance in various kinds to the funeral.
