Date: 2015-02-01

The Deputy Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Kwara State, Mallam Ahmed Yinka Aluko, has promised that the incoming administration will give adequate attention to the Muhammad Kamaldeen University, Ogidi-Oloje, Ilorin.

He added that among other things the PDP government will embark on is to support the varsity to secure license to take-off its academic programmes.

It would be recalled that Muhammad Kamaldeen University was founded by the 1st Mufti of Ilorin, late Sheik Muhammad Kamaldeen but has since been abandoned due to lack of supports from relevant authorities.

Aluko who hoped that with the takeoff of the varsity, more job opportunities will be provided for the youths while admission seekers will also have more chances amidst competitive spaces.

He however enjoined youths to be focused in their endeavours for a better future.

Mallam Aluko who joined other thousand of Muslim faithful to attend the regular Friday Tafsir at the Ansarul Islam Primary school, Okekere, prayed for peace and harmony in Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
