The Minister of National Planning, Dr. Abubakar Suleiman, and the Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate in Kwara State, Senator Simeon Ajibola, on Monday said the PDP would defeat the All Progressives Congress in Kwara State.

Ajibola deplored the alleged misrule in the state, adding that the PDP would provide a good alternative and good governance in the state if voted into power.

Speaking during the inauguration of the Kwara State PDP Campaign Organisation in Ilorin on Monday, he urged Nigerians to re-elect President Goodluck Jonathan in the oncoming election.

Suleiman said the PDP was prepared to wrest power from the APC in the state. “We are going to match APC in the state money for money; tactics for tactics and might for might,” he said.

Ajibola said the PDP was committed to the human resources development and infrastructural transformation of the state. He stated that the people of the state had suffered for long under the yoke of their alleged parasitic and predatory leadership, adding that the residents were ready for change.

He urged the residents to effect the necessary change by voting for the PDP.
