The early evening training session of Ilorin side, Kwara United was disrupted by miscreants in Akure on Saturday, as the team prepared for its Week 22 clash against Sunshine Stars.

The miscreants, who were suspected to be a faction of the supporters of the home side, have been categorised as 'unknown persons'.

Confirmed

The disruption of the training has been confirmed by the coach of Kwara United, Samson Unuanel.

However, Unuanel was quick to add that the identity of the persons can't be ascertained as there was nothing to indicate that they were fans of their hosts, uSunshine Stars of Akure.

Advantage

This is the 10th meeting between the two sides in the Nigerian Premier League with Kwara United holding the advantage with four wins and three draws.

Kwara United have not lost to Sunshine Stars since they suffered a 1-0 setback in January 2011.
