Letter: Re - Two Years of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed's Administration
I am a sincere observer of Governor Ahmed's administration since its inauguration on the 29th May 2011. I appreciate the fact that Governor Ahmed is holistically building on the former Governor Bukola Saraki's legacy on the promotion and commercialization of agriculture.
I also appreciate Governor Ahmed's dynamic and peoples' oriented policies and programmes, and I observed with delight His Excellency's achievements in the areas of rural development, education, aviation, health care, women and youth empowerment, sports development, rehabilitation and construction of roads and in the provision of social amenities, in all the 16 Local Government Areas of the State, within two years of his administration.
Most importantly, the recent declaration by the Government to boost the internally generated revenue (IGR) through the development of tourism, is a welcome development and a right policy.
I hereby seize this medium to appeal to my fellow Kwarans to co-operate with His Excellency, Governor Addulfatah Ahmed, so that dividends of democracy can be extended to all and sundry!
Long live Kwarans.
