Kwara Utd Stun Lobi
Kwara United recorded an away 1-0 win over Lobi Stars in a Week 14 NPFL game played at the Emmanuel Atongo Stadium in Kastina-Ala on Wednesday.
Adamu Yahaya beat the offside trap to poke the ball past Lobi Stars goalkeeper Terkaa Melai and score the only goal of the game in the 42nd minute.
Former Kwara United striker Barnabas Imenger and Tony Okpotu led the charge for Lobi as they fought in vain for an equalizer, but the Afonja Warriors managed to hold onto their lead.
The win was United's second on the road this season following their Week 3 win over Sharks FC in Port Harcourt.
