Sanusi Warns Warri Wolves
Kwara United forward Kabiru Sanusi says the Ilorin team are fired up for Sunday’s Nigerian Professional Football League game against Warri Wolves in Warri.
Kabiru scored the first goal in Kwara’s 2-0 defeat of Nembe City in Ilorin on Wednesday and he is thrilled by the development.
“I am so happy that I have scored my first goal of the season,” the striker told MTNFootball.com
“The victory is an excellent one for us because this is the first time we are winning a game by a two-goal margin this season. So for us, the victory is a big relief.”
It was Kwara’s third win of the season and they have now jumped from 10th place to sixth spot on the league standings with 12 points from eight matches.
