The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has officially inaugurated its 39th Students' Union Executive Council, with Mozeed Adam, a 400-level Law student, sworn in as the new Students' Union President.

The inauguration ceremony, held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Wahab Olasupo Egbewole (SAN), alongside members of the University Management.

Mozeed Adam took the oath of office together with members of the Central Executive Council, representatives of the Students' Union Senate Council and Hall Executives, marking the commencement of a new administration.

Adam emerged victorious in the Students' Union election conducted by the Independent Students' Electoral Commission (ISEC) on June 17, 2026.

The new executive is expected to provide leadership and represent the interests of students throughout its tenure.
