Insecurity: Emir Sulu-Gambari Schedule Special Prayer for President Tinubu, Gov. Abdulrazaq Tomorrow May 10
Worried by the high spate of insecurity across the nation, the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Mai-Martaba Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has organized a special prayer for the restoration of peace in the country.
The prayer will focus of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON for Almighty Allah's guidance for them in their leadership as Nigeria's President and Kwara State Governor respectively.
This is contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Emir's spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, stressing that, "No nation can develop amidst insecurity and percieved tension ".
The prayer will hold tomorrow Saturday 10th May 2025 at the Madrasatul Sheikh Solih Alimi at 10am, to be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Imam Soliu OON and other clerics across the Ilorin Emirate.
The Emir commended the State Governor and Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON, for his commitments and dedication towards ensuring that peaceful coexistence continue to reign in the state.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari however assured the Governor and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR of his continuous support and collaboration in order to ensure that their tenure is free of banditry, terrorism and other social vices threatening the peaceful coexistence and unity of the nation.
He therefore urged residents of Ilorin Emirate to be part of the event aimed at fostering harmony in Kwara State and Nigeria in general.
