Balogun Alanamu Applauds SAS Foundation Founder for Reaching 1,000 Families During Ramadan
The Balogun Alanamu of Ilorin, Dr. Usman Atolagbe, has praised Engr. Saleeman Adedoyin Saleeman as a "golden son of the Ilorin Emirate" in recognition of his exceptional dedication to philanthropy.
Saleeman was specifically lauded for spearheading the SAS Foundation's Ramadan Food Outreach, an initiative that distributed essential food supplies to over 1,000 families in Ilorin, Kwara State. This effort provided critical support to vulnerable households during the holy month of Ramadan, easing their financial burdens.
During a courtesy visit to the palace, Dr. Abubakar Jos, representing the Balogun Alanamu of Ilorin Emirate, expressed admiration for Saleeman and the foundation's founder, highlighting their unwavering commitment to community welfare and development.
“It is inspiring to see our younger generation thrive in both philanthropy and business. Saleeman Adedoyin is truly a golden son of the Ilorin Emirate. I will ensure this Ramadan package reaches those who need it most,” he assured.
Dr. Abubakar Jos also offered prayers for divine blessings, long life, and continued strength for the foundation's impactful initiatives.
The initiative, launched in celebration of Engr. Saleeman Adedoyin's 34th birthday, has garnered widespread praise, prayers, and royal blessings from traditional rulers and beneficiaries across Ilorin.
During a special prayer session held at the Ubandawaki compound, the founder's ancestral home, Guest Lecturer Sheikh (Dr.) Ambali AbdulSalam highlighted the vital role of philanthropy in combating poverty and hunger.
He encouraged Nigerians to prioritize meaningful charitable efforts over wasteful spending.
“If poverty and hunger were a person, many would cry out in anguish, flooding the streets in search of relief,” Sheikh Ambali remarked. “The Prophet (P.B.U.H) warned against wasteful spending and advocated for equal opportunities for all. It is inspiring to see Engr. Saleeman Adedoyin uphold this noble legacy of selflessness.”
Reaffirming the SAS Foundation's dedication to transforming lives, Director General Mallam Muslim Saleeman emphasized the importance of collective efforts in community development.
He urged well-meaning individuals and philanthropists to support charitable initiatives that contribute to Kwara State's progress.
“Our foundation is rooted in a legacy of kindness and generosity,” he stated. “The teachings of Ilorin's esteemed Islamic scholars continue to inspire our commitment to giving. We remain dedicated to supporting the less privileged through food aid, education, and community development.”
Engr. Saleeman Adedoyin also expressed deep gratitude to his wife for her unwavering support, describing her as a pillar of strength and a driving force behind the foundation's success.
“Our dedication to our people remains unwavering. At SAS Foundation, we believe that uplifting one person strengthens the entire community. Our vision is simple, a society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive,” he remarked.
The SAS Foundation's Ramadan Relief efforts will extend to orphanages, correctional centers, and other strategic locations, ensuring that even more vulnerable individuals receive much-needed support during this sacred season.
