Kwara State Upgrades Ibrahim Taiwo Road to Boost Economy and Traffic Flow

Date: 2025-03-01

The Kwara State Government, under the visionary leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, is currently upgrading the Ibrahim Taiwo Road in Ilorin, a key commercial artery in the state.

This initiative forms part of the governor's broader rural-urban infrastructure development plan, which includes reconstructing and constructing roads across Kwara State to enhance connectivity and economic growth. The Ibrahim Taiwo Road project aims to improve vehicular movement, reduce traffic congestion, and stimulate local commerce by modernising one of the state's busiest commercial routes.

In the last five years, Governor AbdulRazaq has invested hugely in the state's infrastructure, including road construction, recognising its critical role in economic growth and development.

Like the already completed roads and those undergoing rehabilitation, upgrade, and construction currently under his rural-urban initiative, the Ibrahim Taiwo Road has been drawing commendations from well-meaning Kwarans for Mallam AbdulRazaq.
