Governor AbdulRazaq Promotes Kwara's Agric and Smart City Projects in Morocco
The Governor of Kwara State, North Central Nigeria, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has provided updates on his administration's Agric Processing Zone and Ilorin Smart City projects, emphasizing their role in attracting high-impact investments to the state.
Governor AbdulRazaq, speaking during his engagements in Rabat, Morocco, described the initiatives as pivotal to enhancing Kwara's economic prospects and fostering sustainable development.
In Rabat, the Governor also met with Walid Hareb Al Falahi, CEO of Dubai Consultancy, where he reiterated his commitment to creating an investor-friendly environment in Kwara. The discussions centered on leveraging global partnerships to drive the state's agricultural processing and technological advancements.
The governor's recent marketing odyssey in Morocco was on the invitation of the African Development Bank Group.
“I had the privilege of attending the inaugural sessions of the Africa Investment Forum (AIF) Market Days.
“During the session, I engaged in networking and dialogues with potential collaborators for our impactful initiatives such as the specialized agro-processing zone and the visionary Ilorin Smart City project,” Governor Abdulrazaq said in a statement released on his official social media handles.
Themed, 'Leveraging Innovative Partnerships for Scale,' the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF) Chairman believes that the three-day AIF stands as the premier investment marketplace in Africa.
According to him, the session was meticulously crafted to facilitate transformative deals that will mold the destiny of the continent.
