Justice Sector Reform Central to Tinubu's Development Plan – AGF Fagbemi

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, has emphasised that reforming the justice sector is a cornerstone of President Bola Tinubu's developmental agenda.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Network of Justice Sector Reform Teams Conference in Ilorin, Kwara State, Fagbemi noted that achieving justice is central to Nigeria's collective aspiration for a fair and equitable society.

He reaffirmed the Federal Government's commitment to addressing systemic challenges in the justice sector through strategic policies and impactful mechanisms aimed at enhancing democratic principles and norms.

In his remarks, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara state said the conference is timely and expressed optimism that it will strengthen public confidence in the judiciary.
