Toyin Abraham Calls for Greater Support for Nollywood at BON Awards 2024
Award-winning Nollywood producer and actor Toyin Abraham has urged her fans and the general public to support the Nigerian film industry by actively watching films made by Nollywood filmmakers.
Speaking at the 2024 Best of Nollywood Awards held at the Sugar Factory Film Studio in Ilorin, Kwara State, the celebrated Alakada star highlighted the need for Nigerians to rally behind their local film industry to foster growth and global recognition.
Toyin Abraham also used the occasion to announce her upcoming movie, urging attendees and fans to anticipate its release and continue showing unwavering support for Nollywood productions.
With December set to be a busy month for Nollywood, Abraham, Funke Akindele, and a few other filmmakers have films slated for release. She appealed to audiences to prioritize watching her film when it hits cinemas.
