Governor AbdulRazaq's 2024 Intervention Benefits Rogun Rice Farmers in Patigi

Date: 2024-10-17

As reported by the Kwara State Government on X handle, Kwara State boasts over 100 farm clusters, spanning from 20 hectares to 5,000 hectares, with the Rogun Cluster in Patigi being one of the largest at over 5,000 hectares.

Rice farmers in Rogun, located in Kpada Ward 2, Patigi Local Government Area, are among the beneficiaries of the 2024 farm input interventions by the Kwara State Government, facilitated through the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

82 farmers from the Rogun Rice Cluster received essential agricultural support as part of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's 2024 intervention programme aimed at boosting agricultural productivity in the state.

Each farmer received bags of NPK and Urea, which were distributed at the Local Government level across the state.

Governor AbdulRazaq-led administration continues to drive the all year round farming agenda in line with the state's Agricultural Transformation Plan.
