Corpse of Unidentified Man Discovered Under Bridge
The body of an unidentified man was found on Tuesday under a bridge in Oko-Erin, Ilorin West LGA of Kwara State.
According to a news report from Daily Trust, the deceased was well dressed in brown trousers, a white shirt, a white cap, and a wristwatch when City & Crime visited the scene.
A resident of the area, Mallam Ahmed, said they woke up to discover the body in the morning, lying face down in the water.
“This is a suspected case of suicide. The man was well dressed. When we got there, we saw a pen, sack and paper on top of the bridge at the spot where he was suspected to have jumped into the water, but nothing was on the paper,” he said.
When contacted, the police public relations officer, Kwara State command, DSP Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, said corpse has been evacuated and deposited in the mortuary
