Gobir Mourns the Death of Ohoro of Shao Land, Offers Condolences
In a statement issued by his media team, Alhaji Gobir described the late Oba Adegbite as a revered monarch who dedicated his life to the service of his people and the development of his community. He expressed deep sadness at the loss of such a great leader and prayed for the repose of his soul.
"His Royal Highness Oba Dr. Salman Bamidele Adegbite was an exemplary leader who worked tirelessly to promote the welfare of his people and advance the cause of peace and progress in his community," the statement read.
"His passing is a great loss to Kwara State and the entire nation. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the people of Shao land. May Allah grant him eternal rest and comfort his loved ones during this difficult time."
Alhaji Gobir also called on the people of Shao land to honor the memory of the late Oba Adegbite by continuing to uphold the values of peace, unity, and progress that he stood for. He urged all Kwarans to pray for the repose of his soul and for the peace and stability of the country.
