The Kwara State Government has reiterated its commitment to meaningfully engage the youth through sporting activities.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq stated this at the start of the Kwara School Football Challenge Competition organised by Kwara Football Academy.

Kwara State Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi at a match kick off Represented by his Deputy, Mr Kayode Alabi, the Governor said, the event would integrate schools and develop unity among the students. Such competitions will also bring about talent discovery among the participating secondary students he added.

Earlier, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Youth and Sports, Barrister Mrs Funke Banire, commended the organiser, Kwara Football Academy, for allowing students to showcase their talents.
