Oloriegbe Commences Distribution of Relief Items in Ilorin For The Victims of Rainstorms Disaster

The Senator representing Kwara Central at the National Assembly, Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe has today commenced distribution of relief items to the people of his constituency who were affected by the rainstorms that wrecked havoc in Ilorin over the weekend.

The materials worth millions of Naira were distributed to the victims through the leaders of each community associations within the Ilorin metropolis. The items given out were: Roofing sheets, Cement, mattresses blankets, and nails.

Some of the benefitted communities are Okaka, Ita Ogunbo, Pakata, Oloje, Alore, Okelele, and others.

Recalled that the Senator flew down to Ilorin yesterday morning from Abuja in the company of Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazak to conduct an on-the-spot assessment of the damages whilst sympathizing with the victims with a promise to reach out to them personally and through the relevant government agencies.
