The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara has congratulated Alhaja Farida Dankaka on her appointment as Chairman, Federal Character Commission, FCC.

In a statement issued today, the party stated that the appointment of Alhaja Dankaka clearly shows a recognition of her exemplary leadership roles in the party both at the state and the national levels, and above all, her quintessential contributions to the successes recorded during the last general elections in kwara state.

The party thanks the President, Muhammad Buhari for considering Dankaka worthy of this noble position.

In a similar vein, the Kwara APC charges the three Senators from the state to shove up support for the confirmation of Dankaka by the Senate.

" Dankaka has indeed demonstrated the characters of a true progressive politician, by strongly standing firm with the people of Kwara and the party (APC), hence her appointment was a well deserved one and we are also pleased with it. "

" The APC therefore wants to use this medium to once again congratulate her and express its happiness on behalf of the party executives, and the entire members of the party, " the statement added.

The party also urges the appointee to continue with her service to humanity and the nation in her new responsibilities.
