2019: PDP will dimistify opposition parties in Kwara - Otunola

Date: 2019-01-30

A grassroot political mobiliser, Chief Otuola Adebayo Awoniyi, has urged the people of Kwara State to massively vote for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Barrister Razak Atunwa, in the forthcoming general elections.

He stated this in Ilorin on Wednesday while speaking with journalists stressing that Atunwa remains the candidate to beat in order to sustain the tempo of growth and development across the state.

According to him, Atunwa is an outstanding politician who has over the years involved in grassroot politics as former commissioner for Works, Speaker of the Kwara state house of assembly and current member of the federal house of representatives. He understands the political and economic terrain of Kwara State.

He noted that, "There is need for Kwarans to desist from campaign of calumny and vote right in the coming elections. His administration will adopt holistic approach to governance that will lead to the provision of the needed infrastructural development and people-oriented policies in the state. We must work on how to collectively deliver Kwara to PDP.

"It is crystal clear from all indications that PDP will gallantly dimistify opposition political parties in Kwara State. Let join hands together to continue to make Kwara great."

Chief Otunola further disclosed that the state had enjoyed steady development under the Saraki political leaderships stressing that Atunwa would further ensure that there is continuity in the areas welfare, project execution and grassroot development.

He also attributed the overwhelming reception enjoyed by the candidate across the state as manifestations of his acceptance by the people maintaining that PDP will record landslide victory in the state.

Otunola however urged the people of Igbomina land and Kwarans home and abroad to massively vote for Barr. Atunwa so as to attract more growths and developments into the state and further protect the sanctity and future of the generations yet unborn.
