Gbadamosi is a sleepy little town in Ilemona ward of Oyun local government area of Kwara state. The basic health center initiated 30 years ago by the then Oyun local government is in a very pathetic state for it has been abandoned since 1982. The mini health center from the size of the project has been built to roofing level but now overgrown with trees.

Located opposite the L.G.E.A. primary school, one could hardly notice any meaningful structure in the area and in an interview with a native of the community, Mr. Fatai Hassan from Balogun compound, it was revealed that the contractor awarded the construction of the clinic absconded when the military took over in 1983.

Hassan further informed city rove that the administration of Hon . Joshua Omankaye Jalala also attempted to complete the project when materials were deposited on the site, but surprisingly, it was also abandoned.

Worrisome is the fact that the community go as far as Offa for medical attention, and an appeal as gone to the Oyun local government to come their aid to complete this laudable project, so as to enhance accessibility to primary health care.
