GOBIR calls for religious tolerance as Muslims celebrate Eid-Fitri

An Entrepreneur, Alhaji Yakubu Layi Gobir has as called for religious tolerance and mutual respect among people of different religious beliefs.

In a statement issued in Ilorin to felicitate with Muslims ummah on the celebration of eid fitril celebration marking the end of Ramadan Fast, Alhaji Gobir urged Muslims to always imbibe the lessons of the holy month

According to him, the teaching of the Holy Qur'an and qualities of Prophet Muhammad should be emulated by the Muslim faithful beyond the Ramadan.

Alhaji Gobir who is the Waziri Kasar Hausa , described Ramadan as a period of spiritual rebirth and self-appraisal in the service of Allah and humanity, charged Muslims not to relent in alms giving and assisting the less privilege in the society.

He also appealed to them to always offer prayers for the nation to overcome the turbulent period and have a peaceful general elections next year.
