Date: 2017-10-10

Residents and people of Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State and Erinle in Oyun Local Government Area of the State have been cautioned to refrain from any act that could cause dis-harmony, break down of laws and orders.

They are however urged to foster the unity and oneness of the two communities to accelerate growth and even-development of their areas.

The National President of Offa Descendant Union, Alhaji Najim Yasin made the appeal on Monday in a statement issued on-behalf of the Executive members of the Union.

He explained that allowing peace to reign in both communities is the best way to attract both local and foreign would-be investors to make positive impact in industrializing the areas, thus creating meaningful employment for the teeming unemployed youths.

The National President of ODU also canvassed for cross-fertilization of ideas between Offa and Erinle people as neighbours on how to harness the abundant human and natural resources potentials endowed the two communities.

Alhaji Yasin however stressed the need for the two traditional rulers in the two communities, Olofa of Offa, Oba Muftau Gbadamosi Esuwoye the first and the Elerin of Erin-le, Oba Abdulganiyu Olusokun the second to educate and enlighten their subjects, particularly the youth on peaceful and harmonious relationship.
