An Open Letter to Governor Ahmed Abdulfatah. By Imam Abdulkadir

Date: 2017-10-03

The crisis of unpaid salaries and the persistent neglect of staff of Kwara state college of Arabic and Islamic legal studies, Ilorin as well as other sisters' institutions in the state has undoubtedly reached an alarming rate.

The multiplier effect is real. The worker suffers, the immediate family and the dependant all suffers.

It is on this note that we strongly appeal to the governnor of Kwara state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed to save the soul of our members from untold sufferings and hardship that the non payment of salaries has brought upon them.

Sir, our members have over the time endured non monetization of 2013,2014 and 2015 promotion. We want the promotions to be monetized in line with global practice.

Despite the non payment of salaries, it would interest the reader to know that members of staff have never neglected their duties but have continued to work diligently. We have however restore to borrowing .

I would like to state here that this is an honest and sincere appeal without any political undertone . It is a cry for help from helpless, law abiding , hard working members of staff of Kwara state college of Arabic and Islamic legal studies, Ilorin. Please SAVE OUR SOUL.

Comrade Imam Abdulkadir
