Kwara Speaker extols Toyin Saraki's virtues as she clocks 53yrs

Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad has congratulated the wife of the Senate President, Barrister Oluwatoyin Saraki as she clocked 53rd today.

The Speaker, in a congratulatory message issued by his Special Assistant on Media, Shuaib Abdulkadir in Ilorin described the celebrant as a woman of great qualities, valour and worthy of being celebrated.

As the Founder, Wellbeing Foundation Africa, Ahmad said her commitment and dedication to the people's welfare and improved standard of living is unequalled.

The legislator said further that as the Kwara first lady, she left no one in doubt of her passion to ensure a better society, particularly as she initiated several developmental programmes to make life meaningful for the less privileges.

He said, "Through her Safe Motherhood Programme, millions of pregnant women were saved while children also benefitted tremendously from the gesture not only in Kwara State but in the country as a whole.

"Healthcare delivery services were provided for the affected people at no cost in the nooks and crannies of the state. Little wonder she is reputed globally".

Ahmad also commended Barr. Saraki for providing the needed support for the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki as he pilots the affairs of the National Assembly, saying that she had over the years proven to be a good companion.
