Ahmed, House speaker pay last respect to late ex-minister

The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon Ali Ahmad were among dignitaries that attended the fidau prayer for the late Minister of State for Education, Alhaji Saka Sa'adu.

Other at the event included the representative of the Senate President, Alhaji Saka Onimago, Senator Mohammad Sha'aba Lafiagi, the All Progressives Congress(APC) spokesman; Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi and former National Planning Minister; Prof Sulaiman Abubakar.

The Chief Imam of Ilorin, Sheikh Mohammad Bashir Solihu presided over the prayer that took place at Ansarul Islam primal school,Okekere, Ilorin.

The Chief Imam in his sermon eulogized the virtue of the late former minister, describing him as an embodiment of humility.

In his sermon, the Grand Mukadam of Ilorin, Sheikh Sulaiman Dan-Borno reminded the gathering that death was an inevitable end of all mortals and advised them to prepare for it at all times.
