Action recorded in the league match between ABS and FC IfeanyiUbah at the Ilorin Township stadium in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League season.

After suffering away losses in the midweek, four clubs, ABS FC Ilorin, Katsina United, Remo Stars and Wikki Tourists will take to the battle fields this weekend with the aim of winning their home matches to improve their dwindling fortunes.

Consequently, the four clubs that were losers in the midweek have all to play for as they confront their opponents this weekend.

In Ilorin, ABS whose unbeaten run ended in Makurdi against Lobi Stars who beat them 3-1 will host Sunshine Stars who secured a 1-0 win over Kano Pillars.

Wikki Tourists who fell 2-0 at Niger Tornadoes to give Coach Abubakar Bala tutored side its first victory of the season will return home to face fellow continental campaigners, FC IfeanyiUbah.

FC IfeanyiUbah and Wikki Tourists are representing Nigeria in this year's CAF Confederation Cup and the clash offers them the opportunity to show their readiness for the continental challenge.

Wikki Tourists captain, Mustpaha Ibrahim told SHOT! that his side will top FC IfeanyiUbah in the match of continental campaigners.

"It is going to be a big clash. While we lost against Niger Tornadoes, our opponents drew at home against Rivers United.

"So you can see that we all have something to play for. However, we need the three points more than FC IfeanyiUbah. This is going to be our second home victory this season," he assured.

Akwa who drew 0-0 at home against Rangers will have their hands full when they visit Katsina United who so far have proved to be invincible at home.

The new comers have not dropped any point at home as they recorded victories over Gombe United and Nasarawa United at the Mohammed Dikko stadium katsina.

At Shagamu, Remo Stars will seek for their second home win when they welcome El-kanemi Warriors.

It will be a difficult match for the Nduka Ugbade tutored youngsters who are yet to find their bearing in the league.

However, considering the distance the Warriors will have to cover to get to the match venue, Remo Stars should be able to make maximum use of their visitors 'jet lag'.
