The Kwara state police command, Ilorin has arrested three persons allegedly involved in the attack on a student some suspected cultists at the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin on Monday.

The state Police Commissioner, CP Sam Okaula briefing journalists yesterday on the recent achievements of the command, also said three persons have been apprehended in connection with the gruesome killing of Roimat Kehinde and Fasilat Azeez of Igba Iroko Village, Alapa town in Asa Local Government Area of the state. CP Okaula stated that," information led to the arrest of Ayodele Amodu who has been charged to court while efforts were made to arrest other suspects, Saidi Amodu, Idris Amodu and Quadri Ayodele ".

He informed that the suspects confessed that they conspired to commit the heinous crime in order to implicate their eldest brother, Ayodele Amodu who was now in prison. "Amodu was alleged to have taken a larger portion of the property left behind by their late father. They also confessed that their elder brother, Ayodele Adama is innocent of the crime".

The police also paraded Segun Bamidele over murdering of Sunday Owolabi of Ile Oja compound, Omu-Aran for the purpose of alleged money rituals. He said Sunday Owolabi was killed by the suspect on his way to his farm located at Rore Village.

CP Sam Okaula however disclosed that two other persons, Musa Aliyu and Kayode Musa were allegedly suspected to have been involved in the killing. The command also paraded two suspected cultists, Muhammed Zulukannin and Tunde Busari. Items recovered from the suspects included, two cut to size double barrel gun, five life cartridges, one blue face cap and criminal charms.
