DSS parades fake certificates syndicate cartel in Ilorin

The Department of State Services (DSS) on Friday paraded in Ilorin, five suspects, including a female it alleged were members of a syndicate which specialised in the production and distribution of fake certificates from several higher institutions in the country as well as issuance of fake Indigeneship certificates from several local government areas of the state.

The arrest came on the heel of an ongoing inventory of workers on the payroll of the state government by a committee jointly chaired by Governor AbdulFattah Ahmed and the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold.

Director, Kwara State command of the DSS, Mr. Abdullahi Shinkafi, who briefed journalists on the latest arrest, said the prime suspect in the incident, identified as one Abdulmajeed Olaide, has jumped bail and is currently on the run.
