Easter: FG declares Friday, Monday public holidays

The Federal Government has declared Friday, March 25h and Monday March 28 2016 as public holidays to mark the Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, made the announcement in a statement through the Acting Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Alhaji Muhammadu Maccido yesterday.

Dambazau enjoined all Christians and Nigerians in general to support and co-operate with President Muhammadu Buhari in his sustained effort to build a peaceful, united and virile nation. He further urged all Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for peace and unity across the nation.
