The Kwara State Government has again reiterated its position towards ensuring that the state and its people embrace personal hygiene in their homes and offices in order to have disease free environment.

The Commissioner Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Otunba Taiwo Joseph stated this while addressing the staff of his and other ministries after the weekly environmental sanitation exercise in the ministry.

Otunba Taiwo urged all participants not to limit such hygienic activities to their offices alone but to also sustain it in their various homes, adding that neatness was next to Godliness.

The commissioner said the government of Kwara state will not condone any acts of dirtiness within the state and its environments. Meanwhile, the yearly world Forestry Day holds today with the theme 'Water and Forestry'.
