Governor Saraki commiserates with Niger State Government on the death of Alhaji Shehu Musa

The Kwara State Governor, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki has commiserated with the government and the entire people of Niger State on the death of Alhaji Shehu Musa, a one time Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).   

Dr Saraki, in a condolence message to the family of the late Makama of Nupe land, enjoined them to regard the death of the deceased as an act of God, believing that every living soul shall taste death.   

He described the deceased as quintessential diplomat whose contributions to the development of the country was immeasurable during his lifetime.  

The governor , who also condoled the Federal Government on the demise of Alhaji Musa, enjoined other serving public office holders both at the State and Federal levels to emulate his footsteps while still in office to improve governance.   

Dr Saraki then prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.   

Alhaji Shehu Musa, a former chairman of the National Population Commission died last week after a brief illness and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
