Soyinka to deliver 3rd Kwara varsity convocation lecture

Date: 2015-06-04

The Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Professor Abdulrasheed Na'Allah has said that the Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, would deliver the third convocation lecture of the university on Saturday.

Na' Allah also asked parents and guardians of the 732 graduating students who would graduate not to bother to search for employment for them because they had been successfully taught entrepreneurial skills to enable them not only to be self employed but be employers of labour.

Na'Allah spoke at a media briefing to herald the third convocation ceremony of the university which would take place at the weekend.

Speaking at the university in Malete, he said that the institution had produced six first class graduates in Information and Communication Technology, ICT, and Pure and Applied Science, adding that three first class graduates came from ICT and Pure and Applied Sciences each.
