The people of Olorunsogo, Oko Erin ward of Ilorin West have commended the Speaker of the Kwara State Assembly and APC candidate for House of Representatives- Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency for his donation toward the repair of damaged transformer in the area.

Atunwa who was represented by the Director General of his campaign office, Pharm. Kale Ayo made the donation during a meeting with members of the community. The area which has suffered total black out for about two months due to damage of the transformer bursted into joy as Barr. Atunwa donated a sum of N200, 000 for immediate repair of the transformer while working on providing a new transformer for the community.

Speaking at the meeting, Pharm. Kale Ayo commended the community for their perseverance and support for the APC government in Kwara state. Kale Ayo said the welfare of the community and Kwara as a whole is paramount to the government which explains why Barr. Razak Atunwa has made a swift intervention in contribute to the development of the communities under his constituency.

"The APC government is a masses friendly government. The welfare of the people is at the topmost part of the government's agenda and this is why Barr. Atunwa cannot afford to watch people in his constituency live without electricity" he said.

Responding to the gesture, the chief Imam of the community, Alhaji Saliu Orire and a community leader Alhaji Fagbola N. B commended Barr. Razak Atunwa for his commitment toward the wellbeing of the constituents. The duo who identified this gesture as one among many others credited to the lawmaker assured that the community will deliver its votes for the All Progressive Congress come March 28th and April 11th respectively.
