Kaima Attack: 3 arrested over attack on Ahmed's convoy

The Police in Kwara on Tuesday said it had arrested three persons who were suspected to have attacked Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed’s convoy on November 25.

The state Commissioner of Police, Salihu Garba said Ahmed’s convoy was attacked 25 in Kaiama, Kaiama Local Government Area of Kwara while on official visit to the community.

Garba said that the suspects were being interrogated at the command’s headquarters in Ilorin.

"Well, something happened like that. A vehicle of the governor’s aide was hit by a missile from nowhere.

"The case is under investigation. We are investigating it and it is like we are getting on top of the situation,’’ he said.
