A group of youths in the Ilorin Emirate, under the aegis of Save Kwara Forum, has canvassed support for a House of Representatives aspirant under Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ilorin West/Asa local governments, Mr Sherif Sagaya, in the 2015 general election.

This was stated at the group's executive meeting in Ilorin, at the weekend. The coordinator, Mr Ibrahim Olesin, called on stakeholders in the party to ensure emergence of credible candidate in the like of Mr Sagaya, in the area.

The group, which said that the aspirant has a large support base from all parts of the federal constituency, added that he would guarantee victory for the PDP in the next general election.

Olesin, who said the aspirant would run a youth-friendly government and cause development in other aspect, added that the group was formed to mobilise grass root support and ensure that victory for the PDP, in the forthcoming general election in Kwara State.

He also described him as the person fit for the position and the candidate that could give the ruling government a run for the game in 2015.

The state chairman of the group, Mr AbdulRahaman Tunde Adelodun, said people of the state are craving for a change.

He also said that the group is made up of indigent professionals of Kwara State, adding that members cut across the 16 local government areas of the state.
