Kwara FA fixes Feb. 24 for board elections
The Kwara Football Association (FA) has fixed Feb. 24 for the election of members of the board which will direct the affairs of the association for the next four years.
This is contained in a statement by the Secretary of the electoral committee, Mr Jimoh Oke, in Ilorin on Monday.
According to the statement, the committee has directed all interested aspirants to obtain nomination forms from the office of the State Football Association at State Stadium Complex, Ilorin.
``The completed nomination forms should be submitted on Feb. 19, while screening of candidates will hold on Feb. 20,’’ it said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) had directed the state Football Associations (FAs) to put in place electoral committees to meet the set deadline.
