Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has donated a brand new Toyota Hiace bus to the Kwara State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), a gesture the association described as a demonstration of his commitment to religious harmony and support for faith-based organisations.

The donation was disclosed in a statement issued by the State Secretary of CAN, Apostle Shina Ibiyemi, who expressed the association's appreciation to the governor for the intervention.

According to the association, the vehicle will strengthen its operational capacity and improve the discharge of its responsibilities across the state.

"The Kwara State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) wishes to express its profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON, the Executive Governor of Kwara State, for his generous donation of a brand new Toyota Hiace bus to the association," the statement read.

CAN said the gesture reflects the governor's inclusive leadership, commitment to religious harmony and unwavering support for faith-based organisations in the state.

The association added that the donation further demonstrates the cordial relationship between the Kwara State Government and the Christian community, describing it as evidence of the governor's commitment to equity, justice and peaceful coexistence among religious groups.

It also commended AbdulRazaq's administration for what it described as notable achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, youth empowerment and social inclusion.

CAN further assured the governor of its continued prayers and support, praying for wisdom, good health and divine guidance for the governor, as well as sustained peace, unity, security and prosperity across Kwara State.
